Ingredients

  • 200 gred lentils

    soaked overnight

  • 2eggs
  • 200 gcottage cheese
  • salt

    to taste

  • 1 tspdried garlic
  • 1 tspturmeric
  • 50 gcheddar cheese

    grated

  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • 2 tbspalbumin

    or whey protein

  • sesame seeds

    for topping

Instructions

  1. Soak 200g red lentils for a few hours or overnight, rinse and drain.

  2. Blend the lentils with 2 eggs and 200g cottage cheese until smooth.

  3. Stir in salt, 1 teaspoon dried garlic, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 50g grated cheddar, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 teaspoons baking powder and 2 tablespoons albumin.

  4. Pour into a greased pan, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 40-; cool in the oven with the door ajar.
