Dark Apple Pumpkin Seed Bread

Grandmother's dark flour-free bread with baked apple puree, flaxseed, chia and pumpkin seeds. Oat-free and sugar-free, ideal for sandwiches.

Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 4 pieceapple

    baked and pureed

  • 4 pieceegg
  • 100 gflaxseed

    ground

  • 40 gchia seeds

    ground

  • 200 gpumpkin seeds

    finely chopped

  • 1 tspcoriander
  • 10 gbaking powder
  • salt

    to taste

Instructions

  1. Bake apples in the oven then puree to 300 g applesauce

  2. Beat eggs and blend with the applesauce

  3. Grind flaxseed and chia seeds

  4. Finely chop pumpkin seeds

  5. Mix dry ingredients with coriander, baking powder and salt

  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients

  7. Let the dough rest 10-

  8. Transfer to an oiled loaf pan and sprinkle with coriander

  9. Bake at 180 C for , then 10- with top and bottom heat
