3 Overnight Chia Oat Flax Berry Yogurt Jars

Three make-ahead breakfast jars with yogurt, raspberries, blueberries or blackberries, thickened with chia, oats or flax. Sweetened only with banana, dates or syrup.

Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 550 gberries

    150-200g each: raspberries, blueberries, blackberries

  • 750 mlyogurt

    250ml per jar

  • 6 tbspsugar-free syrup

    divided, plus honey

  • 3 tbspchia seeds
  • 2 tbspoats
  • 1banana
  • 3 tbspflaxseed
  • dates

    soaked, for sweetening

Instructions

  1. Jar 1: Blend raspberries (leaving some for garnish) with 250ml yogurt and 2-3 tablespoons sugar-free syrup. Stir in 2-3 tablespoons chia seeds, transfer to a 400ml jar and refrigerate overnight.

  2. Jar 2: Blend blueberries with 250ml yogurt, 1 banana and 2 tablespoons oats until thick. Fill a 400ml jar and chill overnight.

  3. Jar 3: Soak dates in boiling water, peel and blend with blackberries, 250ml yogurt and 3 tablespoons flaxseed until smooth. Add water if too thick. Fill a 400ml jar and chill overnight.

  4. All jars need about in the fridge before they are ready, but taste best overnight.

  5. Before serving, decorate with banana slices and fresh berries.
