A no-bake healthy dessert of mixed sesame, sunflower and pumpkin seeds with walnuts, dates, raisins and fresh orange zest, bound with a tablespoon of syrup. Vegan, gluten-free, no oven needed.

Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 80 gwhite sesame seeds
  • 50 gsunflower seeds
  • 30 gpumpkin seeds
  • 90 gwalnuts
  • 200 gdates
  • 200 graisins
  • 2 tbspwater

    1-2 tbsp, for grinding

  • orange zest
  • 1 tbspsyrup

    Jerusalem artichoke, agave, maple or honey

Instructions

  1. Combine sesame, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and walnuts in a bowl.

  2. Add dates and raisins along with 1 to 2 tablespoons of water; grind in a meat grinder for best results.

  3. Add orange zest and syrup to taste; mix everything thoroughly.

  4. Let rest 15 to .

  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for a few hours for a firmer texture.
