- 340 gMazafati dates
soaked 10-15 minutes in hot water
- 15macadamia nuts
optional, for the centres
- 100 gcoconut flakes
for rolling
Instructions
Cover 340g Mazafati dates with hot water and soak for 10-, then drain and pit them.
Grind the dates in a blender until a smooth, chewy paste forms.
Lightly oil your hands, scoop portions of the paste and optionally press a macadamia nut into the centre.
Roll each ball evenly in 100g coconut flakes until fully coated.
Store the balls in the fridge; they can be eaten straight away.
