Ingredients

  • 150 gdates

    soaked in hot water, pitted

  • 100 graisins

    soaked in hot water

  • 50 gsunflower seeds

    toasted

  • 50 gpumpkin seeds

    toasted

  • 100 gwalnuts

    toasted

  • 50 gsesame seeds

    toasted, for coating

  • dark chocolate

    for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Soak 150g dates and 100g raisins in hot water for a few minutes, then drain and pit the dates.

  2. Toast 50g sunflower seeds, 50g pumpkin seeds, 100g walnuts and 50g sesame seeds separately in a dry pan.

  3. Blend the seeds and walnuts in a blender. Set half the mixture aside for rolling.

  4. Add the dates and raisins to the remaining ground mixture and blend until a sticky dough forms.

  5. Divide the dough into three parts, shape small balls and roll one batch in sesame seeds and another in the reserved nut mixture.

  6. Dip some balls in melted dark chocolate. Chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate sets.
