Zutaten
- 200 gsesame seeds
ground
- 50 grolled oats
ground
- 2 tspcoconut sugar
- 1 tspbaking powder
- 2 tbspcocoa powder
- 1 pieceegg
option 1
- 1 tbspchia seeds
option 2 vegan, soaked in 3 tbsp water 5-10 min
- 3 tbspdate syrup
for each option
- rolled oats
extra for shaping
Zubereitung
Grind sesame seeds in a mixer.
Grind rolled oats in a mixer.
Combine ground sesame, ground oats, coconut sugar, baking powder and cocoa; mix well.
Divide the dry mix into 2 equal parts.
Option 1 (with egg): mix one part dry mix with 1 egg and 3 tablespoons date syrup.
Option 2 (vegan): soak 1 tablespoon chia seeds in 3 tablespoons water for 5 to , then mix with the second part of the dry mix and 3 tablespoons date syrup.
Shape cookies, roll in extra oats if desired.
Bake both batches at 160 degrees C for .

Gone by morning.
The vegan version needs a little water if the dough doesn't hold together. Once I got that right, they were great — slightly crumbly on the edges, soft in the middle, held shape after cooling.
My husband prefers these to regular oat cookies.
Good but a bit dry. Next time I'll add a splash of oil to the dough.
