  • 200 mlwarm milk
  • 200 mlwarm water
  • 10 gsugar
  • 10 gdry yeast
  • salt
  • 30 gvegetable oil
  • 600 gflour

    about 5 cups

  • 1egg

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, warm water, sugar, yeast, salt and vegetable oil.

  2. Add flour gradually in three portions and knead into a soft dough.

  3. Grease dough and hands with oil; cover with film and let rise in a warm place.

  4. Split the dough in half, roll out one part and shape the loaf.

  5. Cover and rest 15-; score the top and brush with the egg-milk wash.

  6. Bake at 200 °C for 35- until deeply golden.
