No-Bake Sesame Apricot Date Halva (Vegan)

Chewy halva-style slab of toasted white sesame blended with dates, dried apricots and raisins. Pressed into a mould and finished with a sprinkle of black sesame.

Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 220 gwhite sesame seeds

    pan-toasted

  • 100 gdried apricots
  • 100 gdates
  • 150 graisins
  • black sesame seeds

    for topping

Instructions

  1. Pan-toast 220g white sesame seeds until fragrant.

  2. Blend 100g dried apricots with 100g dates to a paste, then blend half of the toasted sesame into the mix.

  3. Blend 150g raisins separately and combine with the remaining sesame.

  4. Layer both mixtures into a mould and press firmly.

  5. Top with black sesame and chill for 1- before slicing.
