- 2 tspdry yeast
- 125 gsugar
100-150g
- 10 gvanilla sugar
- 100 gbutter
- 2eggs
- 1egg white
- 700 gflour
350g + 350g
- 1 tspsalt
- vegetable oil
for brushing
- 1egg yolk
for glaze
- 1 tbspmilk
for glaze
- sugar
for sprinkling
Instructions
Stir 260ml warm milk with 2 teaspoons dry yeast until dissolved, then mix in 100-150g sugar, 10g vanilla sugar, 100g melted butter, 2 eggs and 1 egg white.
Sift in 350g flour with 1 teaspoon salt, add the remaining 350g gradually and knead to a smooth elastic dough.
Brush with vegetable oil, cover and let rise in a warm place for .
Divide the risen dough into 8 portions, roll each out and shape as shown. Cover and rest .
Brush with 1 egg yolk whisked with 1 tablespoon milk and sprinkle sugar on top.
Bake at 180°C for until golden. Cool on a rack — the rolls stay soft for days.
