Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 150 mlmilk
  • 75 mlvegetable oil
  • 125 gtapioca starch
  • 1egg
  • 125 ghomemade cheese

    grated

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk with vegetable oil until just simmering, then pour over the tapioca starch and stir until smooth.

  2. Let the dough cool , then beat in the egg until glossy.

  3. Fold in the grated homemade cheese until evenly distributed.

  4. Scoop walnut-size balls onto a lined baking tray.

  5. Bake at 180°C for 25- until puffed, golden and crackly.

  6. Serve immediately while the insides are still stretchy.
