- ¾ cupoats
- ¾ cupboiling water
- 20 gbutter
- 1 tbspbuckwheat honey
- 1 tspsalt
- 1½ cupwheat flour
- ¾ cupwhole wheat flour
- 5 gyeast
- ½ cupwater
- 1egg
for brushing
- black sesame seeds
for topping
Instructions
Combine 3/4 cup oats with 3/4 cup boiling water and let stand ; stir in 20g butter and 1 tablespoon buckwheat honey.
Add 1 teaspoon salt and combine with 1.5 cups flour, 3/4 cup whole wheat flour and 5g yeast.
Pour in the oat mixture with 1/2 cup water and knead into a soft dough.
Divide the dough into pieces, shape into buns and place in a greased tray.
Proof 40- in a warm spot, then brush with egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water and sprinkle with black sesame.
Bake at 180°C for until golden brown.
