- 210 ggreen lentils
- 10 gbaking powder
- 1 tspItalian herbs
- turmeric
a little
- 35 gpsyllium husk
- salt
to taste
- 100 gpumpkin seeds
- 350 mlwater
- 30 mlolive oil
Zubereitung
Blend green lentils with water
Add baking powder, Italian herbs, turmeric, psyllium and salt
Fold in pumpkin seeds
Add olive oil and stir until combined
Let rest to thicken
Transfer to an oiled loaf pan
Bake until firm

Did not rise for me at all. Need to adjust oven temperature.

My sister was recently told to avoid gluten. She is so relieved she does not have to give up sandwiches. I bake this for her regularly now.
Added vegetable juice instead of water. My mother-in-law bakes this now too.
Dense but tasted fine. Soak lentils longer next time.
